Sign up for a Kayak Tour to explore and experience first-hand the incredible biodiversity of Nantucket’s unique water bodies, or join us for a free tour to learn about the beautiful and historical species of trees that line our downtown streets.
Clean Water Classic

Join the Nantucket Land & Water Council for the Clean Water Classic, Saturday, June 6th, 2026. The Clean Water Classic is an exciting community water-sports event, open to experienced and beginner stand-up paddle boarders, kayakers, and canoeists. Proceeds from the event will support the NLWC’s Water Fund, a fund established in 2017 that is dedicated to supporting NLWC's water quality conservation efforts, such as our eelgrass monitoring and restoration, PFAS research and advocacy, and youth education programs.
Friends Fête

The Nantucket Land & Water Council and The Arts Almanack Colony are coming together to host the event of the summer, Friends Fête! Friends Fête will take place this year on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026. We're coming together to celebrate the natural beauty of Nantucket and bring in the next generation of environmental activists, artists, and philanthropists.

Our annual End-of-Season Dinner is a chance to gather with our community and celebrate not only our accomplishments, but even more importantly our shared values and vision for the ongoing protection and preservation of our island’s land and water resources.
