Clean Water Classic
Let’s Go for H20!
Register NOW for NLWC's NEW
Clean Water Classic Harbor Paddle Event!
June 14, 2025
Attention – Water Sports Enthusiasts and Everyone Who Loves Nantucket!
Registration is now OPEN for the Clean Water Classic! This new competitive or recreational fundraising paddle event is open to beginning or experienced stand-up paddle boarders, kayakers, and canoeists, aged 16 and up.
IF you do not own your own paddleboard or kayak - no problem! As long as you sign up before Tuesday, June 10th, the NLWC will rent one from SEA Nantucket Paddle Sports on your behalf (at no extra charge).
With thanks to our title sponsor,
spindrift, and founding event sponsors
PURE Insurance, White Elephant Resorts, Haul Over, Broad Street Surf Shop, Bar Yoshi, Lemon Press, and the
Sunken Ship proceeds from the event will
benefit NLWC’s water conservation efforts, including eelgrass restoration, PFAS research and advocacy, and youth education programs.
Thanks to the generous support of the Haul Over, each participant is eligible to receive a free CLEAN WATER CLASSIC Patagonia sun shirt!
Participants pay a registration fee of $50
and commit to
raising a minimum of $25 in additional funds in advance of the event, from their own online (or in-person) "sponsors”.
Check-in begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 14th, at Francis Street Beach (next to SEA Nantucket Kayak). The required safety briefing will be held at 8:30 a.m.
We will launch from there and return to the same location for refreshments. Prizes will be awarded
to teams and individuals who
paddle the fastest
and to those who raise the most funds.
Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Town parking lot and on the Washington Street extension.
Please join us on Saturday, June 14th as we
Paddle to Protect Nantucket’s Waters!
