The NLC Launched The Water Fund in 2017 in order to specifically support our water programs. Over the past five years, it has funded many initiatives, including our Island Pond Sampling Program, Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB)’s monitoring and analysis, Eelgrass Health Assessments and Restoration, State of the Harbor Forums, and, more recently, the Nantucket Waterkeeper Program. Many thanks to all of our Water Fund Founders Circle members who have contributed a yearly gift of $5,000 or more to the Water Fund.
